Text Paste & Convert (textpasteandconvert.com) is a client-side text file conversion tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website.

The short version: All text you enter is processed entirely within your browser. We do not transmit your text to any server. We do not store, log, or have any access to the content you convert.

We want to be explicitly clear about what we do not collect:

• →Your location, IP address logs tied to content, or device fingerprints
• →Any account information (we have no accounts)

Like any web server, our hosting infrastructure may log standard access metadata including:

• →The URL path accessed (e.g. /text-to-pdf)
• →Timestamp of the request
• →HTTP status code returned

This metadata is used solely for server security, uptime monitoring, and abuse prevention. It is not used to identify individual users or profile browsing behaviour.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics scripts that set cookies. Our website may use browser localStorage purely to retain your input text across page refreshes as a user convenience feature.

This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Text Paste & Convert uses the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts (Roboto Mono) — loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may collect standard HTTP request metadata. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• npm CDN (jsDelivr / unpkg) — conversion libraries (pdf-lib, docx.js, JSZip) are bundled at build time and served from our domain. No external CDN calls are made at runtime.

Because your text content never leaves your browser, there is no risk of a server-side data breach exposing your content. The website is served over HTTPS to protect metadata in transit. We do not operate any databases containing personal information.

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data via our contact form, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
